A lot of things going on inside of the world of the news when you say, oh, so it sounds like you're saying bears going along a lot of things inside of the world. So some stuff to think about for sure. As we are talking, moving and grooving and all that other kind of fun analogy words in whatever. So there you go. Some interesting things going on right away. Oh, before I forget, because I don't want anybody else to say it. There's the QR code one more time in case you're, you're missing out on it. Just for our lovely little sign right there. I am not speaking at any safety conference or expo just in case if you don't want to feel left out. In regards of seeing all the people posting on social media that they will be speaking at any conference or expo, that's going on during a certain period of time. Uh, so there you go, you can take download to that if you want, you just click up the QR code and it will get you moving right away into that direction. I am not speaking at any sign of uh, safety conference and expo between september the 13th and the 15th. It's all about inclusion. Don't forget it. Anyway, so let's start talking about what's going on according to the hit list. So let's take a look and we're going to give you news some some news will be unsettling for some, but we have to talk about it because that's what goes on around here. So after care. After careful under the radar planning several white white Lives Matter rallies were planned for sunday or total flops protests planned on route and Riley philadelphia Fort Worth in Los Angeles saw just a handful to zero participants. Meanwhile, uh counter protest groups such as Black Lives Matters were on hand in those cities just in case the lackluster events were documented by live streams and photos posted to twitter and social media platforms. Many left leaning outlets reporting on the rally stated that the lack of participant doesn't mean that people aren't racist, but simply that they have mood underground or perhaps are acting out acting out more as the lone wolf as in attacks. I don't know what the hell is going on man. Uh So there you go. That's the information there. Some other news. U. S. Army officers is suing to Virginia police officers after violent traffic stop that went viral last december. Lieutenant Caron Nazario was driving his suv when he was pulled over by an officer Daniel Crocker for having no no rear license plate and tinted windows. Uh It was later reported that he did not have temporary plates of the or he did have temporary plates inside of the rear view window. In the video crow care. Um and another officer are seen approaching the vehicle with their guns drawn and or heard asking this idea to step out of the studio complies, steps out of the vehicle with his hands raised while questioning the officers about what he has done as he is exiting the vehicle, the other prey space praise space peppers spray into him four times it is then placed onto the uh, onto the ground and then handcuffed rosario's lawsuit claims unlawful seizure, exit, excessive force, illegal search, violating the First Amendment right to freedom of speech in common law, assault, uh, battery and false imprisonment according to CNN he is seeking $1 million in compensation and damages. Hold on. This is the lawyer take like 33%. Maybe he's shooting too low. I I don't know, I'm just just saying, just saying, okay sorry, okay, not sorry, I don't know. Maybe it's not going to play, it's not gonna be a thing. Uh So there you go. Some things to think about. For sure. Oh wow, it's not doing it, not doing it today, whatever After that. Hold on, wait a minute. Well, anyway, so I guess my disclaimer is not going to be disclaimed because I can't disclaim the disclaimer. What? Yeah, that's what's going on anyways. 15 minutes about the top of the hour. What did he just say? We have safety. Don't always agree with the viewpoints of our hosts and guests. Now, back to real safety talk on safety. FM. Yeah, 15 minutes past the top of the hour, as you are hanging out. You and I are here together. Anyways, we talked about this during the Super Bowl season, so let's talk about it. Some more former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid has been charged with D. W. I. In a car crash that left a five year old are real young with brain damage. Court records show that read 35 had a blood alcohol content a .113 after the crash, he was also traveling at nearly 84 mph, just seconds into slamming into two vehicles that were parked on the side of a highway entry ramp. When young was sitting in one of them. If convicted, read faces up to seven years in prison. Meanwhile, on March 27, young was reportedly awakened from her coma but remained hospitalized. So there you go. Some information going on inside of that neck of the woods. Hopefully she will be able to recover fully of the whole thing. As we have discussed previously. Anyways, let's continue talking. A woman in California has been arrested after her three young Children were found dead in her home, Liliana Carajo was taken into custody over the weekend after fleeing the scene of the crime. According to the LAPD, the Children ages 32 and six months were allegedly stabbed to death by their mother, who authorities are calling a sole suspect. The Children's father, eric Denton is devastated over the news. A family member told the local news outlet that didn had been trying to get custody of the three kids and had reached out to the D. C. F. S. And police for help on multiple occasions. It is unclear what letter carajo to carry out such a heinous act. Uh, let's talk about it. A fucking mental breakdown. Really like what led to it. I don't think she was just strolling and said, hey, this is a good idea to do that kind of the common practice there, of things to think about. Um, I mean it's a terrible act. Let's just be realistic, let's talk about it. I mean there's so much stuff going on right there. Uh I mean it's just crazy when you hear something like this and then what happened with the contact with D. C. F. S. I'm just asking the question and I know some people are not gonna like that. But hey, you can't plan for some of these things. I mean now we're talking here, we're talking 32 in six months. 32 in six months, totally unnecessary. Like totally your how many kids go up for adoption or how many kids could go out for adoption is better saying people that are looking to have kids. I mean there's options of course as we do talk about it anyways 18 minutes past the top of the hour as of monday over 18.189 point seven million Covid vaccine have been administered nationwide. Over 74 million americans have been fully vaccinated. While more than 100 and 20 .8 million have received at least one job. The total number of cumulative cases in the us are just over 31 million with more than 559,000 deaths attributed to the virus. So there you go. Some other interesting news. And then here is gonna be the other part. So we talk about COVID, we talk about death, we talk about safety, we talked about all these other things, but the damn thing that we keep on talking about all the time is good. So let's talk some more. A teenager was killed in a police officer was wounded when a gunman opened fire at a high school in Knoxville Tennessee on monday afternoon. The full circumstances of the incident have not yet been Made clear, but officers rushed off to Austin East Magnet High School around 315 after a call came in about an armed person. When they approached the suspect, shots were exchanged. A school, A school officer suffered a non life threatening injury and a male teen was killed. A statement from the police said that one person has been detained. Local N. B N. B. C. Affiliate, W. B. I. Are reported that 14 who were current or former students at the school have been killed in a shooting in recent months. This story is still developing and listen, we can go through this 1000 times if we want you in 1000 times more people can obtain guns legally and illegally. It's not it's not part of the conversation. I mean it is part of the conversation but we kind of know this bad guys bad gals will always find a way to kind of circumvent the system. Just kind of the way that it works. Let's be realistic. But what are we looking at here? I mean let's be realistic for a moment and let's think about the last year in particular when we were talking about the pandemic mostly and about people being locked up, we didn't hear about these kind of large shootings going on. Now I'm not saying this is a mass shooting, but it is a multiple killing that happened here or a killing that occurred here. But when do we start talking about gun control again? I'd say take them all away because that's not what I'm saying. But how do we start looking at this? How do we start verifying? I mean it just gets kind of strange because all of a sudden hey do you want your kid going to a school where there's metal detectors all over the place? Probably not. But now, you know, when we're talking about ghost guns, which is the other popular thing going on, you know, we, we might have some questions on some things to ask. We are now video streaming the rated R safety show. I don't know why our host has a face for radio rated R safety show. So there you go. A lot of things to talk about, think about and so on. So that's what's going on. Anyways, let's start talking a little bit more. New. Hampshire is the first state to administer at least one dose of COVID vaccine to over 50 of its eligible residents. What makes you eligible exactly? Uh, the state opened vaccine eligibility to residents ages 16 and older on April II. So there you go and plan to do it with residency requirements next week. What? What? Yeah, there you go. There you go. Um so there you go with that. As of Monday 50.9 had received at least one dose while additional 21.5 had received their second dose according to the c. d. c. The state said that the second highest dose is administered are the at the rate of 70,457 per 100,000 of total population. New Mexico currently is the highest with 71,674 per 100,000. Did I ever tell you how much I like New Mexico? Yeah. Now because of the vaccine thing just I just like new Mexico I'll mention it just in case. But if you haven't taken a look at it earthship you probably should give it a give it a go. Especially if you're in the taus area. Yeah taus. Just in case. Uh So there you go, a lot of interesting stuff going on inside of the world right now, let's talk about the case that is going up in Minnesota Minnesota Dante. Right, Who? Uh, bob, bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob, hold up Dante, right? Who was killed during a traffic stop in Minnesota on sunday died as a result of an accidental discharge by an officer who mistook her gun for a taser. What? I mistook her gun for a taser. There you uh, police body cam footage showed the officer screaming Taser Taser as the other officer struggled with the, with right in the car and he takes off of his visit his vehicle. The officer yelled, Oh shit, I just shot him the Brooklyn instead of the police. Tim Gannon said that monday that the officer who fired her weapon has been placed on administrative leave. Is that with payer without pack? There's a question, uh, demonstrate us flooded flooded streets again. Demonstrators flooded streets again yesterday as police in riot gear and the National Guard were on hand to control beyond rest. So there you go. So a lot of stuff to think about as we do talk about it for sure. So, some other interesting things always going on. I don't know, I don't know what is going on exactly in Minnesota at the moment. So there you go. One person is dead, another critical injured after a shooting in front of the Henry Dunant Hospital in paris. An eyewitness said that the gunman shot a man in the head and then fired at least twice more into the man's body of female victim believed to be a security guard was hit by a stray bullet. The shooter then fled the scene on a motorcycle. Officials did not identify the victims but did say that the female is in life threatening condition. The hospital is currently serving as a COVID-19 vaccination center, but officials don't believe that had anything to do with the shooting. Anyway, so there you go, a lot of information to cover a lot of information to talk about. And I don't know what to talk about. I mean it's just it's interesting seeing the things that are going on for sure as we are talking and moving and grooving and all that other stuff. Anyways, let's get john smalls in here and let him tell us about the market beat minute right after this stuff. You are listening to a radio God. What? This has to be an error. That host is not a radio God. Anyways, this is the rated R. Safety show on safety FM. Here's Your market beat minute for Tuesday april 13th 2021. The equities market started the week with a whimper. The S and P 500 gained less than 1/10 of a percentage point at the high of the day. But it did set a new all time high record. The move comes just days before the peak of the S. And P. 500 earnings report season and is a sign of high expectations regarding the results. The risk for the market now is that Q one growth is already priced into the stocks, which is a situation that could lead to a sell off. This week's earnings reports come from a broad array of sectors, but the focus will be on the financials. The financials are the new bellwethers and will set the tone for the season. Topping the list of names are Jpmorgan Chase Goldman, Sachs, morgan Stanley Bank of America and Citigroup. Also of note, will be earnings reports from Transportation Leader, JB Hunt consumer staples, giant Pepsico and Alcoa. You can get the inside track from all streets, brightest minds delivered directly to your inbox every day at market beat minute dot com. Okay, so that was John Smalls with his report, let's talk about the other side of the equation. Markets dipped slightly on Monday to start the trading week, the Dow split about 55 points. The NASDAQ lost about 50 points and the S&P dropped nearly one point. The lower market performance on monday was largely attributed to the looming earning season in which companies will begin Their next round of reports. Many companies have had their targets boosted by many analysts, so the pressure will be on the beat those markets. There you go. Uber added 3.1 during the session after reporting march of this year had added the most rides of any month in the company history. So there you go. So you know, you wouldn't think ah for a moment that Uber people would be writing, but here's the fun part. It's not really the Uber side of the rideshare version or the riding, it's the food driving. Yeah, that's it. What's driving that market is people wanting to get their food delivered because they don't want to go anywhere Does't make sense. I would think that it does some things to think about for sure as we are talking anyways, that is 27 minutes past the top of the yeah, where? So let's talk about it, let's move, let's groove and let's get into that one portion that we talk about all the time that we kind of call our mame story, Here is our main story on the right safety show. So there you go. You hear a lot of things going on inside of the world, You hear a lot of things that we discussed on this show. You hear a lot of things just going around and about and all that kind of fun stuff. So you think about science fabrication when we start talking about certain things or maybe safety fabrication depending on how you want to take a look at it. So let's talk about some other stuff right away because I think that this is gonna be important. So do you know what science fabrication is? Seriously? If you don't let's talk about it there is a class that you can take an M. I. T. That is called that science fabrication. And let me explain to you exactly what it consists of it is watching these futuristic tv shows. So let's take a look at the Star treks of the World. Let's take a look at anything like the terminator And what it consists of is how would you go about trying to build that technology by reverse engineering? So you would take the information that you have you would reverse engineer it. Which I mean so you would see whatever you have on the screen and then that's how you would build it out alright by making sense so far. And the reason that I asked the question is because it's going to be interesting on how we take a look at some of this stuff because we want to have all these advanced technologies and we've seen these futuristic movies and it seems like we're leading or kind of lending or moving and grooving and heading that general direction of what it is that people want to see because of these futuristic movies and we're trying to build technology that will do. So Now if you kind of take a look around and think about some of these things, let's talk about movies. But also we can go back to 1956 when people are talking about artificial intelligence. Yes, I didn't say that wrong. 1956 was one of the first group meetings that people had about artificial intelligence and how they wanted it to look. Now. The funny part is that we are getting into a lot of machine learning. Think about it if you have your standard face recognition software on a cell phone such as face ID. That is machine learning with automation. So think about it. It is a i that is doing that stuff. It is recognizing your face, it is trying it's just learning about the curvature and the changes and so on. So science fabrication is something that's been around. We're still learning the algorithms, we're still learning on if there is a biased non bias how it's built, who controls it and all that kind of fun stuff. But let's think about this in different aspects. As we talk here, there's two sides to the equation. When we're talking about this, some of this technology is great when we start taking a look at it, some of this technology is going to change the way that our lives are. I mean that's just kind of uh obvious. So that's the fun part. But here's the thing when we start talking about scientific fabrication, you know, on how much we can use this into our little world of niche safety and what do I mean here think about what you want your safety program to look like, because we've talked about this in the past and how we could do safety fabrication also in the same method. And what do I mean when I say this, I mean exactly that you already have some science behind some of the safety programs that are out there. You already have some other areas that to make all kinds of sense when it's all said and done, when it comes to safety. Now there are some improvements that we want to see and you know, I probably should get very out of this method of always saying about, Oh yeah, safety inside of an organization, but maybe we should really start talking about safety as being implemented into the organizational culture, which where it should have been all the way along opposed to we have a safety culture about culture, culture, but as we think about this and we talk about this and we move forward with this. What would you do if you were allowed inside of your location inside of your organization to do safety fabrication? You sit back and you become almost like a Disney imagineer for a moment and you think about how you want things to look how you would want this program to work and how do you reverse engineer this bad boy to make it work inside of what you want to accomplish? Ah Now I'm telling you if there's people at M. I. T. That are doing this with science and we can actually go into our world of safety and start talking about science. Why in the hell are we not doing this? Because here's the thing you're going to have a knowledge base about your organization about how that world is safety should work. That's going to be different than others. The other side of the equation is very similar to, I'm going to have a knowledge base about certain things are related to safety that you might not have. We can always share information, don't get me wrong. But that's the thing. If we're going to do something to change the way that our industry looks, if we're going to do something to make our industry safer by expanding, we have to start now. There's not gonna be a magic wand that comes about and changes things, but we need to start talking about technology and how we're going to do safety advancements in technology now, don't get me wrong. A lot of people are gonna be talking today about, oh my God, chips, safety, chips, not chips about safety, but we're gonna be talking about chips that discover Covid according to 60 minutes near stari. But let's start thinking about other things. Let's start. I mean the chip thing is kind of interesting, don't get me wrong, but some people I mean I don't even know if I should say anything about info wars, but of course I'm sure that Alex jones is jumping up and down thinking that he was correct the whole time. But did we forget the dogs get chipped and they have been chipped for years Anyways side don't. So let's talk about this. What can we do to change the way that the industry is done? And I'm not talking about pseudoscience, I'm talking about doing scientific stuff that can help change the way that we look at things the way that organizations run because we are doing safety fabrication by building that thing in reverse engineering. I mean I don't say go out there and take a look at tron safety because that might be a little strange but I think that there is a possibility right now for things to change so dynamically if we really start focusing on this thought but here's the thing just like all automation, it is going to have a bias. What? Yes, yes, but let me explain. Humans are the ones that are teaching the machines to learn. So do you think a bias is going to be built into it? Absolutely. You would kind of be silly not to think
